"Music has been a constant that has weaved in and out of my life.."
Hello I am TonyB. Some of you might know who I am... I was raised in the entertainment world by my father who opened Bermuda's 1st International nightclub the 40 Thieves Club in 1962. Everyone from Mel Torme, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones and dozens more performed at the 40. In 1970/1971 I was assistant to the tour manager on the Tom Jones US tour. In 1978 I built Bermuda's 1st disco - Disco 40 which I ran with my sister Marilyn’s husband Jon Feldman. I have produced entertainment in Bermuda for over 30 years and created the Lennon Bermuda Peace Day Concerts. Artists I brought to Bermuda include: Nils Lofgren, Paul Carrack, Paul Young, Hiram Bullock, John Sebastian, Billy Preston, Jeff Golub, Roger McGuinn, Judie Tzuke, Squeeze, Maxi Priest, Shaggy, Biggie Irie, Splashband, Spice & Co, Tony O'Malley, Jimmy Keys, Peaches & Herb, Gary US Bonds, The Fab Faux, Ramsey Lewis, Stanley Turrentine, The Hamish Stuart Band, Jamie Lawson. In conclusion, if I could describe myself in only one sentence, that would be...MUSIC IS MY LIFE. Besides being my livelihood, music has been, through all these years, my inspiration, my joy, my solace in times of trouble, and my compass when I've lost my direction. Music gives me energy and purpose, adds meaning to my actions and always brings a ray of sun that guides me through the darkest night.
